End of one era and start of another

Last night marked the end of an era with the last P6 before the astro redevelopment work begins.

Do Daka finished the season with a defeat to Return of the Black but they had already secured the Premiership title weeks ago.

The Division One title went to the wire as defeats for the top two last week set up a 3 way shootout for the title. Blitz and Return of the Black Reserves played a winner takes all match while Smurfs Reserves the reigning champions had to beat the HACAs and hope the other game ended in a draw. Smurfs did their part beating HACAs 3-0 while a controversial game on the other pitch ended 2-2 with 2 goals in the last 3 minutes meaning the 10 game season went right to the wire. The results meant Smurfs overturned a 5 point deficit with 2 games to play to win the title on goal difference.

P6 is now wrapped up until at least mid September when the new astro is in place.
